Story

Welcome to the fun and mysterious world of Boo Buddy! You wake up as a disembodied, cute ghost in the cemetery, where you were apparently buried after your life on earth. You realise you're stuck here until you finish something... something important. The only thing you feel in yourself is a burning desire to find some candy. Maybe this desire has something to do with your past life, even though you can't remember anything, not even your name. But maybe finding the candy will bring you peace...

Legend has it that the candies were stolen from the village many years ago by a group of mischievous spirits and have been hidden ever since. The villagers have been searching for these sweets for many years, but to no avail. Maybe you're the ghost who can help them find the candies?

How to Play

In this pixelated adventure game, you play as a cute ghost who must find 16 lost candies scattered across a map featuring a well-kept cemetery and a quaint village by the river. Explore the map and have fun!

P.S.

I am an IT student and young developer. I've never had any experience in game development before. I'm a beginner at GameDev and "Boo Buddy" was my first game that was made by me alone from pixel art and code to music. The only exception is the ghost sprite, which I really liked and bought.

I had a lot of ideas for this game, like the ability for the ghost to possess NPCs to then control them. But I couldn't do it in such a short time. 

If you would be interested, I can continue to improve this project, or I can start making another and more interesting game.
